Sincerest apologies for our very dormant blog of late but...
the blogging 1/2 of our little duo has been up to her elbows in cement, wood, paint etc for the last week.
Why you ask? Well this time last year we bought and renovated a little house. Actually, we gutted and then scrounged and renovated on a shoe string budget. it was suggested we enter the place into the Tuis/ Home Fix it with Flair Competition, so we did and are now finalists.

This was our little foreman then...
Lula, our little basset was a great help and we managed to complete the interior. The exterior however, has remained an unfinished area for the entire year and next week we are expecting a visit from Tuis/Home so it has been 'ALL HANDS ON DECK' for the last week. (literally...we are building a deck and putting in an outside shower)
